This production hired alumn designers for the creative team with student assistants. I had the chance to cheer on some incredible undergraduate technicians.
Radium Girls is a true story of women who worked in a factory in the 1920s - they contracted radium poisoning from painting watch dials with glowing paint. The play follows their fight for justice against the companies that knowingly exposed them to harmful radiation, leading to severe health issues and deaths. It depicts the courage of these women in the face of immense adversity.
