THE MISANTHROPE

2021
FGCU TheatreLab
Fort Myers, FL

The Misanthrope, a neoclassical piece written by Molière, explores a multitude of topics such as the irrationality of love, hypocrisy, and overall behavior of the higher social class of the time period. I had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Lighting Designer where the main goal was to have nice, even washes with hints of colors that give insight into the mood/feel for each scene and the drama that unfolds.
