This Brecht piece utilized the entire blackbox space, as even "offstage" actors could be seen in seating areas SR and getting changed in between scenes. The set itself is inspired by the astronomical clock in Prague and carry the symbolic elements of Galileo's fight against the Church & society's belief of the solar system. Some of the most unique parts of this production include hanging planets throughout the grid and UV paint for choreographed dances!

DESIGN PACKAGE

This was my last scenic design as an undergrad student and certainly did not leave me feeling bored - I was beyond happy to design something that had a "painterly" feel to everything as the director had specifically requested that aesthetic.
