I was so pleased to be welcomed by this summerstock again, and this season the production manager approached it in the true nature of this type of theater - designing based off of a "superstructure" used for every show. The space is a mix of a gym and cafeteria vibe, with furniture pulled in to differentiate the locations. Underneath the main platform I created a sliding wall that would allow for Grease Lightning to enter in its beautiful and rusty glory.
