BRIGHT STAR

To continue training myself as a designer, I like to assign myself shows to whip out quick sketches, draftings, and renderings for. This is what existed in my mind as I read through the musical Bright Star!

Taking us to 1920s North Carolina, we learn the story of Alice Murphy, exploring both the past and present of her journey as a writer and the tragic events from her youth. As Alice embarks on a journey of redemption and reconciliation, she connects with a young writer named Billy, whose future intertwines with her own in unexpected ways.
